Baseball is one of the two original sports established at Waubonsee in the 1967-68 academic year. The team was coached by Bill Prince from 1967-1977. In 1977, Dave Randall replaced Prince. The photographic record of this sport is the strongest in the collection. Of particular note is the 1996 season, with the Chiefs finishing as runner-up to the national champion.
